Cookie Policy

This page lists the one cookie Sggymlifestyle sets, why it exists, and how to withdraw the choice. It has applied since 2026. There are no advertising cookies and no analytics packages on this site.

What a cookie is on this site

A cookie is a small text file a browser agrees to store for a host. Sggymlifestyle sets one. The public pages are static PHP and CSS. They work if every cookie is blocked. The banner at the bottom of each page exists because we still need a way to remember that you have already answered, so the bar does not sit over the footer on every visit. That memory is the only job a cookie has here.

The banner is visible until a choice is stored. It is not hidden with a default display:none in the style sheet. If JavaScript does not run, the bar stays on screen and the pages remain readable. If JavaScript does run, a click on Accept or Decline writes the value accept or decline to a cookie named sgg_consent and to localStorage under the same key, then hides the bar.

The cookie we set

Cookie Purpose Lifetime
sgg_consent Stores the banner choice (accept or decline) so the notice can stay hidden on later visits 180 days

The same value is also written to localStorage under the key sgg_consent. Local storage is not a cookie. The script checks localStorage first when a page loads. Clearing both cookie and local storage returns the site to the first-visit state. Decline is still a stored choice. Accept does not switch on tracking. There is no tag manager waiting behind the button.

What we do not set

We do not set cookies for advertising networks, social pixels, heat maps or session replay. Typefaces come from Google Fonts, which is a third-party request for files, not a Sggymlifestyle tracking cookie. We do not place a cookie when you send the contact form. The form uses a hidden timestamp and a honeypot field in the page itself.

The Google Maps embed on the contact page is an iframe pointed at maps.google.com. That third-party frame may set its own cookies according to Google’s rules. We do not control those cookies and we do not read them. If you want to avoid them, skip the map and use the address: 1 Kim Seng Promenade, #02-14, Great World, Singapore 237994.

How to withdraw the choice

Clicking Decline writes decline and hides the bar. If you want the bar back, delete sgg_consent from cookies and from localStorage, then reload. On most desktop browsers, open the site settings for sggymlifestyle.life, open cookies and site data, and remove the host. On Safari, use Privacy, then Manage Website Data. On a telephone the labels differ, but the idea is the same: remove data for this host, then reload. If you use a content blocker that strips all cookies, the site should still read normally. The banner may keep appearing, which is the honest result of having no memory.

Questions

If this page and the behaviour of the banner do not match, write to [email protected] and describe the browser and what you clicked. This website runs on shared web hosting. The notice first applied in 2026, when the studio opened.
